The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Behind the glovebox. Tools: 2 Phillips-head screwdrivers

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Open the glove box and remove the panel on the right edge of the dash.
Step out of the vehicle and remove the panel below the glovebox.
Remove 4 screws along the top edge of the glovebox assembly.
Remove the screw behind the glove box (You will need a long screwdriver with at least 12 inch).
Remove the screws on the bottom-left and bottom-right corner of the assembly.
Pull the glovebox assembly from the dash by starting at the top-right edge. This will expose the filter housing location. Leave all the wiring connected to the assembly and set it on the floor.
Unlatch the filter housing door from the right side and remove it. Pull the old filter out.
Install the new cabin air filter and make sure the air flow pointed correctly.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and done.
