FreshenOPT F-3253C
The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.
Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side behind the glove box. Tools: Phillips-head Screwdriver.
When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):
- Open the glovebox and disconnect the dampener arm from the right side of the glove box.
- Push in on the glove box to disengage the stops and lower it towards the floor.
- Using Phillips-head screwdriver to remove 7 screws on the panel.
- Remove the panel. And unclip both sides of the filter housing cover to remove it.
- Remove the old filter by pulling straight out.
- Insert your new cabin air filter into housing.
- Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
