The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side behind the glove box. Tools: None.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Open the glove box and carefully press in on each side of the glove box allowing the stops to pull away and allow the glove box to swing down.
Carefully remove the glove box bottom hinges front the retainers and set the glove box aside.
Now with the filter access door exposed, remove the access door by releasing it from the clips on both the right and left sides of the housing.
Remove the old filters by pulling it straight out.
Insert your new cabin air filter in to housing.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
