The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side under the dash. Tools: Phillips-head screwdriver

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

    1. Look under the glovebox and remove the plastic panel above the footwell. It’s held in place by 2 The plastic panel may also have some lighting hooded to it if so un-clip that also.
    2. Next pop out the center console panel. Do this by gently prying from the side closest to the shifter and slide it back towards the shifter once the clips are out.
    3. You will see the cabin air filter cover where you removed center console panel. Remove 3 screws on the cover and remove the cover.
    4. Remove the first old cabin filter by sliding the bottom filter out. Remove the second or top filter by sliding it out.
    5. Install your new cabin air filter in the housing so they stack like the filters you removed.
    6. Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
