The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side behind the glove box. Tools: Standard screwdriver.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Open the glove box.
Behind the glove box is the filter housing door which is located on the forward wall.
Remove the filter housing door by pressing up on the two latches along the bottom edge and then pulling door away from housing unit.
The filter frame must drop down about an inch and then it can be pulled straight out of the housing.
Remove the old filter from the frame.
Install your new cabin filter into the frame and put it back to filter housing.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure. Close the glovebox and it’s done.
