The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.
Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side of the vehicle behind the glove box. Tools: Standard screwdriver.
When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):
- Open the glove box.
- Look inside the glove box and you will see 2 stops (on each side). Remove 2 stops by using a standard screwdriver.
- Allow the glove box to hang down toward the floor on its bottom hinge.
- Now look into the space where you just removed the glove box, and you will see a rectangular shaped door. Unlatch the door from the left-hand side, open and remove.
- Remove the old filters from the housing frame.
- Insert your new cabin air filters.
- Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
